The transfiguration of Jesus is a story told in the New Testament when Jesus is transfigured and becomes radiant in glory upon a mountain. However, here too Jesus revealed his divine nature in many ways during his time on earth for them to come into true obedience to his purpose. Jesus went into the house, but he did not let anyone else go with him, except Peter, John, James, and the girl's father and mother.

Jesus does not give us His reasons here too. 2 Peter 1:16 For we did not follow cleverly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. Jesus brought Peter, James (brother of John), and John to the mountain where the Transfiguration took place.
